Hello everyone, my name is Lilly. How are you doing because I am exhausted. Same old same old. I woke up quit early because I had to go to school, also because there are chickens right outside my house made of steel and scrapes so you could call it a shack. I was so hungry so I went to the very small kitchen to get some food. When I opened the cupboard there was nothing. Not even a crumb of bread. I got dressed in the only clothes I was allowed to wear for school because my family can’t afford school uniform. So I walked to school, hungry. You think that’s bad. Wait until I tell you about my afternoon. So I was at school doing math class. I couldn’t concentrate because I was starving. The classroom was compacted with children. We did English next. We had to share ten textbooks between sixty children. Finally it was break. I was playing with some of my friends and opened my luchbox but there was no food in my lunch box and I was starving so bady but then I had to go to the bathroom....

Hi everyone Yes, it’s me again. I will be talking about my Grade 5 camp at High Africa. We did so many fun things there at High Africa. Firstly my teacher put us in our cabins. Most of my friends were on the same cabin that I was in. We met all the staff members and they are so kind. Everyone went on a big field and we played many games. I won’t spoil it for you Incase you want to go to High Africa. One of the staff members divided us into groups of five. I was in group two. Also, some of my other friend were in the same group that I was in. Only one of my cabin mates were in the same group as me. Yay for me 😃! My group did a lot of activities but everyone in the whole Grade did the same activities. On the night, everyone made bread. I started of as dough. We placed the dough on the fire outside. My bread  was not cooked properly so I threw it away and made a new one. On the last day of camp we had a cook competition. Everyone had to make potjie. In the potjie was carrots, ...

hi Everybody I thought Grade 5 was going to be hard, but actually it's not. I enjoy working with my teacher Mrs Barnard. She is really kind, funny and thought full I am going to miss her next year. In the mornings on Monday and Wednesday I would do Athletics to improve my skills in High Jump. On Monday in February  I was competing against other schools. I was competing in High Jump and i made it through to the finals. in the finals i thought i came fourth but i actually came third. i was so pleased with myself. Once in Assembly, my whole class did a dance.we were dancing to My Old Heart. my Drama teacher choreographed the whole dance. Once my whole class went to  Kirsten bosh for a outing to learn about the Fynbos. I am enjoying my time in 2019. ON the 14 of February was Valentines day. I enjoyed Valentines day but I call Valentines Day Friendship Day. Bukho Bukani
